Isle of Wight 2019

In 2019 we revisited the Isle of Wight and stayed along the east coast in Shanklin. Out of season is wonderful here, the sea is full of energy and rages against the shoreline, it's great to do these coastal walks (but make sure you have decent gear!).

We visited:

• Shanklin
• Ventnor

We have been the Shanklin before (for our first wedding anniversary) so we knew what to expect, the Chine is as lovely as ever. Ventnor Botanic gardens were beautiful although we spent most of our time doing a Halloween-inspired treasure hunt with Arthur :D

The walk from Ventor to the gardens was really beautiful too, the little cove with a bar was a hidden away gem!
